EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling 137 2023-2025 Entegra Aspire Class A motorhomes. The camera control module may have been installed upside down and flush to the floor, which can allow it to overheat and prevent the camera image from displaying. Dealers will inspect the camera image, install two brackets and replace the module as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 7, 2024. Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling six 2023-2024 Jayco Terrain, and Entegra Launch motorhomes. The main wiring harness may chafe against the drive shaft and short circuit, which can result in a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control. Mercedes dealers will inspect the routing of the main wiring harness and correct it, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 7, 2024. Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling 33 Jayco Swift, Swift LI, Entegra Coach Ethos, and Ethos LI motorhomes. The driver seat belt warning light and audible chime may not activate as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, “Occupant Crash Protection.” FCA dealers will inspect and replace the driver seat belt buckle as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 14, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling eight 2023-2024 Atlas motorhomes. The generator may have been installed without a heat shield, which can expose the subflooring to excessive heat. Dealers will install the heat shield above the generator, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 2, 2024. Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling 16 2024 Eddie Bauer travel trailers. The tire placards indicate an incorrect tire size. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, “Wheels and Rims – Other Than Passenger Cars.” Heartland will mail out replacement certification labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 15, 2024. Owners may contact Heartland customer service at 1-877-262-8032.

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling 15,572 2017-2025 Revel, 2020-2025 Navion, Porto, View, Vita, 2022-2023 Adventure Van, and 2024-2025 Ekko motorhomes. Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) wires can be caught in the seat mechanism when the driver or passenger seats are adjusted. Dealers will inspect and re-route the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 28, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago’s number for this recall is 185.
