NHTSA Releases its Most Recent Installment of RV Recalls – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.
Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling 99 2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles. A 12-Volt ground connection may not be secured properly, which can result in the ground connection overheating and a loss of drive power. Dealers will inspect and repair the 12-Volt ground connection, as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 3, 2024. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA’s number for this recall is VS3HVERSL.
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling 10,894 2021-2023 Montana, 2021-2022 Montana High Country, 2022-2024 Fuzion, 2021 Crossroads Cruiser, and 2024 Dutchmen Aspen Trail LOFT vehicles. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat. Dealers can remove the LED backlights or terminate the circuit for the red LED lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 17, 2024. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone’s number for this recall is 24-452.
