New RVDA App Offers Access to Molino Learning Center – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

FAIRFAX, Va. – The RV Dealers Association (RVDA) is encouraging technicians to look into the new RV Fixed Operations Today mobile app, designed to point them to opportunities at the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

Developed in partnership with ChannelPRO Mobile, a provider of mobile enablement and engagement tools, the mobile app offers users free access to the RV Learning Center’s five self-assessments or readiness tests for service management and parts personnel.

“The biggest thing about this is the readiness tests,” said Tony Yerman, RV fixed ops consultant with RVDA. “They can take these quizzes that are usually 25 to 30 questions and there are five of them – one for each of the certifications. It then points you to the study guides and the Learning Center.”

The app also includes a message board where users can ask questions of Learning Center staff.

The app itself is free as is one of each of the tests.

“If they take each of the five readiness tests, that’s $125,” Yerman said. “We’ve charged $25 each in the past. If they don’t pass it the first time, they can take it again, but then they have to pay.”

Each readiness test relates to job specific skills identified in the RV Learning Center’s competency profiles for service writers/advisors, service managers, parts managers/specialists, and warranty administrators. By identifying possible knowledge gaps, the readiness tests help individuals gauge their preparedness for certification.

Yerman said there are a number of articles available on the app that users should find educational and help lead them to other vital information and a link to recent National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recalls for RV models.

The app is available to download in the Apple and Google Play stores by searching “RVDA.” The app also contains links to the subscription website RV Fixed Operations Today, a one-stop resource for all members of the RV dealership’s fixed operations management team. A one-year subscription is $49.95.
