DENVER — The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (National ARVC) recently announced a new appointment to its Business Forum and the election of a new Business Forum chair, a position which holds a representative seat on the organization’s Board of Directors.

At its fall meeting, which took place at the Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo 2022 in Orlando, the National ARVC Business Forum welcomed Rafael Correa, chief financial officer of Blue Water Development Group, and elected existing member Robert Bouse, vice president of Resort Operations for Travel Resorts of America, as chair of the Business Forum.

Bouse replaces Mike Beckelhymer whose term as Business Forum chair had expired, according to a release.

“The Business Forum appreciates Mike’s years of service as chair and is honored to have Rafael and his business acumen join an already robust group of industry leaders,” says National ARVC President and CEO Paul Bambei. “This group is a collective of some of the best business minds in our industry and we all benefit from the discussions had when the Business Forum convenes.”

The Business Forum is a group of industry leaders who meet twice a year to discuss industry trends and possible solutions to challenges. The insights shared around the table are invaluable to the growth of our industry, Bambei says.

“I’m excited to join the ARVC Business Forum,” said Correa. “I am looking forward to collaborating with the brilliant minds who are defining the next 50 to 100 years of RV campgrounds.”

Bouse will represent the Business Forum as a member of the National ARVC Board of Directors for a term of three years ending in November 2025.

“It is an honor have been selected as Chair for a group that represents the cutting edge of our industry,” Bouse said. “Filling Mike’s shoes is not obtainable; however, I will attempt to keep the bar he has set at the same high level. I look forward to working with our group as well as the National ARVC Board to continue to grow the industry and take it to the next level.”
