This section (pictured above) of February’s “New Motorhome Market Summary” gives us an annual view of the careful balance between wholesale and retail deliveries, noted the report.
When we divide a month’s wholesale shipments by the same month’s number of retail listings, we approximate how much of dealer inventory is replenishment as a percentage. Adding these percentages together for the trailing 12 months tells us as a ratio how much turnover there was in that year.
