FRENCH LICK, Ind. – The French Lick Casino and Resort in southern Indiana once again is hosting Meyer Distributing’s Annual Dealer MegaShow, a two-day show that opened yesterday and concludes today.

Company officials noted slightly more than 140 unique dealerships had registered for the event, a 40% increase from last year’s all-time attendance.

The opening day offered a full slate of seminars starting at 9:30 a.m. and running past 5 p.m. Despite – or, perhaps, because of – the inclement weather, with temperatures in the middle 40s accompanied by heavy overcast and steady drizzle, the many seminars were well attended.

Vendors holding seminars included AP Products, Arterra, ASA Electronics, Blue Ox, Carefree of Colorado, Curt, Demco, DeWalt Tools, Dicor, Draw-Tite, Dura Faucet, Fastway/Equal-i-zer, GE Appliances, Gen-Y Hitch, Go Power!, Hughes, Lippert, PowerMax, Pullrite, Samlex, SmartPlug, Southwire, Streamlight, Stromberg Carlson, Swagman, Ultra Fab, Weigh Safe, and Xantrex.

A packed Welcome Reception closed out the evening.

The mood during the first day among attendees, exhibitors and show organizers was noticeably positive. Seminar participants were eager to learn about the new products and optimistic about the coming RV season.

Go Power! officials explained how to size solra projects for boondocking.

One vendor, an industry veteran with literally hundreds of shows under his belt, told RVBusiness that he expected it to be a good show: “There are a lot of dealers here, including those from Canada and Southern California, and they are excited.”

Today will mark the official opening of the vendor displays, with approximately 95 exhibitors filling the 30,000-square-foot hall.

The RV MegaShow is an open invite, noted Ben Johnson, Meyer’s category sales manager for towing, RV, and marine. “This event gets better every year, and we have exclusive opportunities at the show that you can’t get anywhere else. All RV and marine dealers are invited.”

Meyer Distributing has been actively expanding its footprint in the RV segment—notably acquiring the assets of western distributor AIM Wholesale in October of 2023. Headquartered in Jasper, Ind., the company operates 13 warehouses and 96 cross-dock facilities serving the U.S. and Canada.
