Longtime RV Supplier Sales Rep Mike Higley Passes at Age 74

Michael A. “Mike” Higley 74, of Edwardsburg, Mich., passed away March 31, 2023, at his home surrounded by family, according to an obituary in the Elkhart Truth.

He graduated from Edwardsburg High School in 1967 and spent most of his life working as a salesman in the RV industry until his retirement from Suburban Manufacturing in 2012. He owned many classic cars and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. None of these possessions though, made him as proud as the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.

He was born in Elkhart, Indiana, on Dec. 13, 1948, to Marge (Shaffer) and Harold Higley. He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Stan.

Cremation has taken place and a visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 W. Main St., Edwardsburg, Michigan. His remains will be laid to rest in Adamsville Cemetery with a private ceremony.
