Lippert Planning ‘Getaway’ at ‘Red Rock’ in September

Red Rock RV Park is set to be the host of the next Lippert Getaway.

Lippert Components, Inc., a supplier of highly engineered products for RV manufacturers, plans to hold its third annual consumer event on Sept. 19-23 at Red Rock RV Park near Yellowstone National Park.

The four-day event, known as the “Lippert Getaway,” is designed to give consumers opportunities to provide suggestions on things Lippert should consider to improve its products, which are widely used by RV manufacturers across North America.

Jessica Roberts, Lippert’s director of events, said the company recognizes the importance of continuous innovation in an industry where customer needs and preferences are ever-evolving. The Lippert Getaway is an important part of this process, she said, facilitating open dialogue between the company and its consumers.

“Our primary focus is to foster deeper connections with our attendees and create a personalized experience they have been eagerly waiting for,” Roberts said, adding, “We believe that the best ideas stem from gathering around the campfire and breaking away from the traditional training and seminar approach.”

In addition to serving the marine, towing and rail industries, Lippert is a one-stop-shop for RV manufacturers providing more than 1,000 products that encompass everything from chassis, slide outs and awnings to glass and antilock braking systems.

“Depending on the manufacturer, we supply approximately 55% of the components that make up an RV,” Roberts said.

But unlike a rally, which is designed for owners of specific RV brands or products, Lippert Getaways attract owners of all brands of towable and motorized vehicles across the entire RV industry. This inclusive approach sets Lippert Getaways apart from traditional rallies.

Information and suggestions Lippert gleaned from the Getaway event will complement the information the company gathers from consumers through its online forums. Lippert calls participants in these forums “Lippert Scouts.” Members of the “Lippert Scouts” community are invited to celebrate the vibrant RV lifestyle at the upcoming Lippert Getaway while enjoying the breathtaking beauty that Red Rock RV Park has to offer.

Roberts said the Lippert Getaway promises idyllic views, insights into the next generation of products and services and engaging team-building activities that will leave attendees with meaningful connections that will last a lifetime. Notably, Lippert staff members will be staying on-site in their own RVs for the week for a firsthand approach that underscores the company’s commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of the RV community, Roberts said.

The next Lippert Getaway will be held at Red Rock RV Park, a 156-site Open Road Resorts property in Island Park, Idaho, roughly 30 minutes from the western entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

“We just added 66 full-hookup sites to the park,” said Open Roads Resorts co-founder Jim Omstrom, adding that the park has an abundance of amenities, including a brand new bath house with on-site laundry and shower facilities, a new retail store, individual fire pits and picnic tables, a large playground, pickleball court, tetherball, ping-pong and foosball tables and a fenced dog park.

“Every view from the park is amazing as it sits at the foot of the Sawtelle Mountains, and opposite Henry’s Lake,” he said, noting that there are plenty of attractions in the area in addition to Yellowstone. “The area has an endless number of things to do including ATV/SXS trails, fly fishing, kayaking, rafting, swimming in crystal clear water at Cliff Lake visiting Mesa Falls.”
