Lippert Exhibiting Camping Products at CMT Stuttgart Show – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

SAN CASCIANO VAL DI PESA, Italy – Lippert Components Inc. (Lippert), a supplier of a broad array of highly engineered components for leading OEMs in the recreation and transportation product markets, returns to the CMT in Stuttgart (Hall 7, Booth 7D14) with its latest products and aftermarket accessories.

In 2024, notable innovations emerge, featuring the groundbreaking Furrion eRove portable electric cooler and Furrion Vision S — an advanced 360° electronic security camera. Complementing these advancements are the latest accessories, including the R-Wave and R-Skirun, that expand the carrying capacity of the R-Bike van carrier system, facilitating the transportation of multiple canoes, surfboards or accommodating the gear of avid skiers and snowboarders. Also on the forefront is the Manila manual drop-down bed system, rounding out the array of cutting-edge developments for the year.

Visitors to the Lippert booth will be able to see following innovations first-hand:

R-Bike

R-Bike is Lippert’s first bike rack for vans built on Fiat Ducato, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit, Volkswagen Crafter and Renault Master chassis. Weighing only 10 kg, the product stands out with its lightweight design and innovative mounting system that eliminates the need for bolts and, consequently, drilling into the vehicle’s bodywork. Additionally, users have the option to convert it into a general load carrier, a ski rack or a surf rack by utilizing separately available accessories. The R-Bike was initially created to safely transport two e-bikes or, with an optional third rail, three pedal bicycles, supporting a maximum load of 50 kg. It comes in four color variants with an automotive finish: white, grey, total black, black/orange and the anodized aluminum finish (Alu).

R-Wave

The R-Wave seamlessly connects to the R-Bike van bike rack, offering a secure and hassle-free solution for transporting water sports equipment such as surfboards and canoes while maintaining the accessibility of the van’s rear doors. With a weight of under 10 kg, it can carry a maximum load of 40 kg, accommodating five surfboards, three surfboards along with one canoe, or one surfboard and two canoes. The R-Wave is designed to be quickly and easily connected to the R-Bike van system frame and is available in four colors: aluminum, black, grey or white.

R-Skirun

The R-Skirun is a new accessory designed for the R-Bike van bike rack. Capable of carrying and protecting skis and snowboards up to a maximum weight of 28 kg, it features a lockable design for secure travel. Unloading is made easy and comfortable upon arrival, thanks to an ergonomic release button. The innovative design ensures that the van’s rear doors can still be opened even when the R-Skirun is fully loaded. It can securely hold up to four pairs of skis or two pairs of skis with two snowboards.

Furrion eRove

The Furrion eRove is the most efficient portable cooler in its category, and with its 400W ePod rechargeable battery, it can run for up to five days of autonomous power, making it perfect for off-grid camping trips. Its best-in-class insulation technology means the eRove is capable of freezing to -22 °C and keeping ice from melting longer than any other device (up to 10 days).

A 100W solar panel is available with the optional Adventure Pack, so it can be recharged without plugging into shore power or 12V power and includes a trolley to make it easier to transport. The eRove measures 512 x 507 x 906 mm, with a capacity of 46.1 liters (72 cans) and weighs 28.9 kg.

Other convenient design features include three USB ports, wireless charging for mobile phones, an LED interior light and an LCD display to easily adjust the settings between modes (beverage, freezer, eco and smart mode). It is also available with an umbrella holder, twin cup holder and a bottle opener.

Furrion Vision S

The Furrion Vision S range of cameras and wireless kits is not just innovative; it effectively eliminates blind spots during maneuvering and provides comprehensive surveillance for campervans, trucks, special vehicles, trailers and more. The systems ensure high reliability by utilizing 2.4 GHz digital wireless communications, offering stability and an impressive range of up to 150 meters. In the entire camera range, you can expect clear imaging, wide angles of view and night vision.

Equipped with a motion sensor that activates the system automatically when triggered, these products are available for individual purchase or in convenient kits. The complete kit comprises a rear camera, two side cameras and a monitor, with the option to add an additional doorway camera. In contrast, the basic kit includes only the rear camera and monitor. If the five-inch or seven-inch monitor is chosen initially, the system can be expanded later as needed.

Manila manual variable-height bed lifting system

Lippert, a leading manufacturer of electrically powered variable-height beds, has expanded its product range by introducing a manual version. This addition provides a more cost-effective and lightweight alternative. The manual system offers a distinct advantage in that it doesn’t consume any energy, making it ideal for off-grid campers looking to preserve their battery power.

Similar to electric versions, the manual system is easy to use. It allows the bed to be effortlessly raised or lowered, and users can lock it at any desired height simply by pressing a button or turning a handle. This versatile system can be conveniently fitted above a rear garage or in the seating area.
