KOA Hosts Meeting for Campground Mgmt. Professionals – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) hosted the annual spring meeting of the Campground Association for Management Professionals (C.A.M.P) May 7-8 at its new headquarters in Billings, Mont., according to a press release.
“KOA is honored to host the spring C.A.M.P meeting,” said Chris Fairlee, KOA’s chief acquisitions officer, adding, “We are proud to welcome this group of campground professionals to our new corporate headquarters and envision this will be the first of many hosted industry meetings. Our KOA team is excited to share knowledge and collaborate with C.A.M.P to elevate outdoor hospitality.”
C.A.M.P’s spring meeting included a tour of KOA’s new headquarters and briefings by several top KOA officials, including Fairlee; Lance Bevier, KOA’s franchise development manager; Darin Uselman, KOA’s chief operating officer; and Diane Eichler, KOA’s senior vice president of marketing. KOA Chief of Staff Brandi Simpson will discuss KOA’s latest annual North American Camping & Outdoor Hospitality Report.
CAMP’s attendees included: Susan L. Brenton, of the Arizona Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (Arizona ARVC); Dyana Kelley, from the California Outdoor Hospitality Association (CalOHA); Dee Witting, of the Carolinas Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (CARVC); Mary Arlington, who represents the Colorado Campground and Lodge Owners Association (CCLOA), the Kansas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (Kansas ARVC) and the South Dakota Campground Owners Association (SDCOA); Lisa Thibodaux, of the Louisiana Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (LARVC); Joann DelVescio, of New Jersey Campground Owners and Outdoor Lodging Association (NJCOA); Jason Vaughan, of the Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association (PCOA); Michael Moore, of Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO); and Lori Severson and Carla Brown, of the Wisconsin Association of Campground Owners (WACO).
