‘Just Another Day in Arizona’: Bobcat Stomps Rattlesnake in Viral Video
A real estate agent in Scottsdale, Arizona was showing a home when she and the prospective homebuyers came across a wild scene—a bobcat fighting a rattlesnake on the sidewalk. The bobcat was repeatedly stomping on the rattlesnake, which snapped at the wild cat throughout the skirmish.

Laura Lucky told FOX 10 News Phoenix that she hadn’t planned on giving the homebuyers (who were from out of state) “a taste of the wild west” during the house hunt. But she certainly did!
Lucky told FOX 10 that she believes the diamondback rattlesnake got at least one bite in, which would have been very painful to the wild cat. However, bobcats are known for their audacity in going after venomous snakes and surviving their toxic bites.
The sidewalk showdown went viral when local news first shared it a few years ago, and it continues to be reshared online because it’s so rarely seen.
