Jim Harbaugh Wants to Live in RV Close to Chargers Facility – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
Jim Harbaugh is already looking forward to his move to Southern California after taking on the role of the Los Angeles Chargers head coach, but not for the reason fans may think, according to a report by Sports Illustrated.
Before moving into a house, the former Michigan coach plans to drive his RV to California and camp out in it near the Chargers facility for a few months.
“I want to drive my RV out and go to a trailer park down by the water or by Disneyland, the two that I’ve researched that are close to the facility,” Harbaugh said during his introductory press conference on Thursday. “I want to ‘Jim Rockford’ it for the next couple months until we move to the new facility,” alluding to the 1974-’80 television show “The Rockford Files” in which lead actor James Garner lived and worked out of a mobile home near the beach in Malibu, Calif.
