People from around the region are trying to sort out what happened to their RV and campers turned in for service at Camping World in East Ridge, Tenn., which is a suburb of Chattanooga, according to a report by News 9 ABC.

Investigators are trying to determine what caused a three-alarm blaze Friday, Sept. 22, that destroyed the warehouse and damaged RVs and camping trailers parked on the lot.

Eddie Bolin from Rossville came down to se if he could spot his RV that he sent to Camping World two weeks ago to get a heater fixed.

“My daughter called me (and said) the Camping World was on fire,” Bolin said. “I had hunting clothes all our cooking utensils, camera and what not. Trail cameras for hunting and a big screen TV. I paid cash for it. I paid too much. [My advice for people] is make sure you have insurance.”

Cheryl Hooks who lives nearby in East Ridge came down to watch the firefight from the parking lot across the street.

“Billows and billows of black smoke it was covering the sky,” Hooks said.
