Holy Anchovies! Millions of Fish Swarm Marina in Monterey Bay

Booking.com

Fish, presumably anchovies, recently swarmed Breakwater Cove Marina in Monterey Bay, California, and a video of the bizarre natural phenomenon shocked a lot of people online. Monterey Bay Boatworks initially shared footage of the anchovies on October 24, and nearly 11,000 people liked the video. The company then shared another video to its page several days later, and that one got nearly 66,000 likes.

“Here we go again! Turn the volume up!” wrote Monterey Bay Boatworks in the second video posted at the end of October.

The videos show more fish than you can imagine flopping around in the marina. Anchovies cover nearly every inch of the space as the person recording pans from left to right, showing more and more of the marina and the hoards of fish within.
