Hit the Road in the Amazing Winnebago Solis Camper Van
Versatile, comfortable, and fun, the Winnebago® Solis® is a fantastic camper van built for any adventure. Designed to be as easy to drive as your family car yet spacious enough to sleep four comfortably, this Class B has so many great features and amenities that it’s practically in a class all its own.
The Solis rides on a Ram ProMaster® chassis powered by a 280 HP 3.6L V6 gas engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes a push-button start, an automatic pedestrian emergency braking system, forward collision alerts, and power windows and locks. A digital rearview mirror provides unfettered views from the back of the vehicle, while an integrated touchscreen gives the driver access to the built-in infotainment system, rear- and side-mirror cameras.
Winnebago designed the Solis to be an all-season camper equally at home in the mountains as it is on the beach. It comes equipped with a Truma Combi® eco furnace and water heating system, a Coleman®-Mach® 10 NDQ air conditioner (59PX), proprietary insulation, and composite flooring to keep things cozy in all kinds of weather conditions. Its 20-gallon fresh and gray water tanks—along with all valves, lines, and pumps—are located inside the vehicle, providing extra protection from the elements.
Inside, the Solis features a comfortable, well-appointed space built for life on the road, with a dinette that converts to a sofa or daybed and has a rising Murphy+ bed that lifts out of the way to create more space. An onboard wet bath includes a shower, mirror, and a swiveling cassette toilet, while the galley kitchen features a two-burner range top, stainless steel sink, and pull-out countertop extension. Swiveling captains chairs and a movable pedestal table help create additional working space for remote workers and road warriors.
The Solis is available in two floorplans, both of which include a pop-up rooftop sleeping area. The 59P floorplan comes with all of the features mentioned above, along with an optional sofa/bed that boosts seating capacity to six. Meanwhile, the 59PX rides on an extended wheelbase chassis (21′ versus 19′ 9″) and has dedicated L-track-equipped storage space and a built-in Cummins Onan® gas generator. Both models ship with roof-mounted solar panels, side and rear screen doors, and dual exterior stations to help keep the interior as clean as possible.
Available in four distinct colors, the Winnebago Solis camper van is the perfect mobile base camp for weekend getaways, family vacations, and extended road trips. Pricing starts at $152,169. For more information, visit the Winnebago website.
