This RV park is the peak of luxury and it’s placed right next to the ocean. This makes it perfect for anyone who is seeking a beachside vacation. Best of all, you don’t even need to leave the your RV site to enjoy the sand, sun, and waves!
In addition to the close proximity to the ocean, this campground also has a huge selection of amenities, spacious sites, and a ton of activities both inside and outside the park. It’s one of the most well-reviewed resorts in the state of Alabama. Read on to learn what sets it apart from the crowd!
Overview
Buena Vista Motor Coach Resort is located on Perdido Beach Boulevard in Orange Beach, Alabama. As previously mentioned, it’s right next to the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. But campers can also visit the nearby Bon Secour Bay, as well as selection of nearby lakes.
Pensacola is also quite close by (just over the Florida border). So if you’re looking for a campground that’s close to a popular tourist destination, this resort has you covered.
It’s also open all year long, making it an ideal place for snowbirds. It’s even possible to book long-term stays and buy certain sites. So if you’re in the market for a place to settle down for months at a time, this could be a great fit.
There are 111 sites on this property and all of them come with full hookups for water, sewage, and electricity (50 amp). All of the sites are also paved with beautiful brickwork, which is a bit step up from the dirt and gravel you may be used to!
It’s important to note that this resort is only for large motorhomes (either Class A’s or larger Class C’s). The sites are designed with them in mind, so they’re a specific length and size. The largest sites are 70 feet long, so it’s easy to get in and out of them, even if you have a huge rig.
Rates
Admittedly, this resort is pretty expensive. After all, it’s a luxury RV park that’s in a prime beachside location. But there’s a range of prices to choose from, and the lower end is still perfectly manageable for those who just want to stay a night or two to see if they like it.
There are four different site types to choose from, and each tier includes a special feature that justifies a higher price tag.
For starters, there’s the Standard site. This starts at $93.50 per night and it includes a paved parking spot, full hookups, a landscaped stretch of grass, and bushes along the side for privacy. The Moderate site comes with all of that, plus a classy pavilion, fire pit, and outdoor furniture. These sites cost $126.50 per night.
Moving on, there’s the Deluxe lots. They feature more upscale amenities such as outdoor kitchens, shaded lounging areas, grills, and more extensive landscaping. These cost about $176 per night.
Finally, there are the the Luxury sites. These are ideal for guests who plan to stay for an extended period, or who want to camp with large groups. Each luxury site comes with all the RV necessities, plus a stand-alone coach house (1–2 bedrooms). These are modern living spaces that come with great views and tons of amenities. The prices are between $190–$335 per night (depending on the size of the house and the dates of the reservation).
As you can see, there’s quite a variety of camping spots to choose from. You can find the right site for your needs by visiting buenavistamotorcoachresort.com

Reviews
There are tons of options for campers along the Gulf shores, so it can be hard for a single RV park to stand out. But Buena Vista Motor Coach Resort has the distinction of being one of the most highly-rated campgrounds in the area!
On RV LIFE Campgrounds, it has a score of 9.6/10. The vast majority of the reviews marked it as an “Excellent” park. There were also a few “Good” ratings in the mix, and only one person gave it a score of “Average.” Remarkably, there was nothing lower than that.
Nearly every guest said that the whole resort was clean, high-end, and luxurious. It has been well-maintained over the years and is frequently renovated to stay at the top of its game. Many campers enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting.
Honestly, there aren’t a lot of drawbacks to speak of here. The managers work hard to make this a positive experience for every visitor. The prices may be a little steep, but that’s to be expected for a luxury beachside resort like this. Overall, campers seem highly satisfied with their experience.
