GOSHEN, Ind. — Goshen Stamping – a manufacturing staple that supplies metal stampings to the ladder, RV and rubber industries –  is finally celebrating 100 years with a major overhaul, according to a report in the The Goshen News.

This past Friday, the company held a groundbreaking for renovation work performed by Ziolkowski Construction. In November 2022, the company suffered a fire that took out portions of offices and manufacturing, putting them behind schedule for production.

Founded in 1923, Goshen Stamping Vice President Jeff Breiler estimated that the company’s true centennial was in the spring.

“Obviously, we had every intention of celebrating during that time, but this got in our way,” he said.

Dealing with insurance, Breiler and the team have learned a lot along the way.

“None of us have gone through this before,” he said. “We learned some lessons. There were some delays that occurred, and we had to make some on-the-fly adjustments. We really did the best we could with what we knew. If I had to guide somebody or myself through this again, I’d take lessons learned.”
