General RV Center Launches Contest for Camping Season
WIXOM, Mich. – Right now campers across the country are gearing up for their next great adventure. In 2022, around 58 million households went camping and around 74% of those households have already planned their 2023 trips.
Camping already saw a strong start to the season with 26.1 million households taking a camping trip over Spring Break, and travel experts expect that number to continue to grow when the summer camping season officially begins in just a few weeks.
As campers plan another summer of outdoor adventures and s’mores around a campfire, General RV Center wants to hear about their camping stories, according to a release. Last month, the largest family-owned RV dealership in the country launched its “Come Home With A Story” contest. The contest, which started April 3, encourages campers to share their stories for a chance to win a $1,000 General RV gift card to enhance their camping experience.
“For over 60 years, General RV Center has helped countless families make RV memories, and we recognize the magic that happens when a memory turns into a story shared around a campfire,” said Alicia Gewinner, General RV Director of Marketing. “Come Home With A Story is designed to celebrate camping stories and to inspire campers to hit the road so they can start writing their next story.”
