Members of FMCA, an international organization for RV owners, are assembled at CAM-PLEX Multi-Event Facilities in Gillette, Wyo., for the association’s 107th International Convention & RV Expo, which runs Aug. 23-26. Organizers have themed the event “Celebrating 60” in honor of FMCA’s founding in 1963. The association has hosted events at CAM-PLEX three times prior, most recently in 2021, according to a release.

This week, attendees will tour RV exhibits – motorized and towable RVs parked outside the facility’s Wyoming Center, plus supplier and component displays. Live daytime and evening entertainment and special events and games run through the week as well. The schedule also includes over 100 seminars focusing on technical and lifestyle aspects of RVing, many of them presented by industry experts. Before the start of the event, attendees who wanted additional instruction on their units had the opportunity to register for “RV Basics” classroom sessions and hands-on “RV Driving” and “RV Backing” instruction.

Chris Smith, association CEO, said he’s proud of FMCA’s strong convention tradition, adding, “For decades we’ve brought RV families together — to share their love of the lifestyle, learn more about their units, and see what’s new. We give them a reason to keep RVing.”
