Fishermen Save an Owl at Sea (Video)

Andrew Galdieri and his friend were fishing more than 20 miles offshore in Florida when an owl landed on their boat. The young fishermen decided to save the owl out by bringing it back with them and releasing it closer to shore. Galdieri’s sister posted the video to TikTok, and the video received hundreds of thousands of likes.

In the video, Galdieri says to the owl: “You’re a little lost, home boy!” He then urges his friend who’s driving the boat to “take him home, cap!”

Galdieri manages to wrap the owl up in a towel. He holds it like a baby in the crook of his arm as the fishermen jet back to shore with their precious cargo. The owl’s face is hilarious, as if it’s not sure whether it’s being rescued or kidnapped.

Once they get close to shore, Galdieri releases the owl.
