Cool Keys
Hop on the Overseas Highway to explore some of the most spectacular areas of the Upper Keys. Once a haven for celebrities and millionaires, the park is now a hot spot for hikers, kayakers, snorkelers, and birdwatchers. Follow the hiking trails to get a close look at the wildlife and gorgeous plant life that flourishes here. Paddlers can explore the mangroves to see wildlife hiding in the shadows.
A 17-mile drive northeast on the Overseas Highway will take motorists to Islamodora, a cluster of six islands that has earned the title “Sport-Fishing Capital of the World.” Expert guides and charter services whisk anglers away for offshore or backcountry excursions.
