Fit Your Camper 2024 (www.fityourcamper.it), the first accessory fair for campers, caravans, vans and leisure, will be held from April 4-7 at Lariofiere Erba Como Lecco.
This event, which celebrates the success and great interest in outdoor tourism, is aimed at both industry professionals and the general public.
With a wide range of national and international exhibitors, the fair will offer a unique opportunity for discovery, innovation and networking for tourism enthusiasts on wheels.
The first two days will be reserved for professionals, with business opportunities, seminars and workshops, while on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April, the event will be open to the public with free access. Parking for campers and caravans will also be free while available spaces last.
It is already possible to obtain the free ticket by connecting to the site: www.fityourcamper.it
Campers and caravan owners will have an incredible range of accessories, components and equipment at their disposal to complete the equipment of their vehicles. They will be able to meet with experts and technicians in the sector not only to choose the products best suited to their needs, but also to learn how to use the tools in the best way while preserving their integrity and efficiency.
“ The peculiarity of this fair is that companies producing accessories and components for recreational vehicles participate directly ,” declares Enrico Bona, sales manager. “ To date, all the main brands in the sector have enthusiastically participated, making this event extraordinary since the first edition. . Just to name a few, AL-KO, CBE and Nordelettronica, Lippert, Dometic, Thetford, Airxcel, Eberspaecher, Truma and Fiamma (through the distributor Dimatec), Viesa, Vecamplast, Brunner, Teleco, Acquatravel will be present. But the list of those who are evaluating which products and how many square meters to participate with is still long .”
The public will also have numerous entertainment opportunities. In addition to the technical meetings organized by exhibitors and moderated by sector journalists, there will be interesting insights from camper chefs, expert pilots, long-term campers with a following on social media, photographers, dog and cat health experts and much more.
“ I’m really excited about this new fair. I believe it is a perfect opportunity to observe market trends and launch new products in conjunction with the start of the season. I also consider the B2B section very useful ”. – Massimiliano Ferretti, Commercial Director, AL-KO KOBER GmbH/Srl.
“ It is certainly a missing fair, it has never been there and it is needed, because those who want to find out about accessories have never had a dedicated showcase at a time of the season when itinerant tourists start to move and plan holidays. The idea of the two B2B days is also excellent, because often the dealer doesn’t have time during the fairs where recreational vehicles are sold .” – Tommaso Gasparrini, Aftermarket Sales Manager, Lippert, Caravanning EMEA.
“I have always supported the idea of a fair dedicated to accessories for campers and caravans, believing it essential to give more visibility to our sector. The B2B component is fundamental for us, having experience in other sectors such as automotive. I believe that April is the ideal period for a B2C and B2B fair in the components sector. It’s the perfect time to discuss, implement solutions and train retailers on new products ahead of the new season.” – Alejandro Jacquet, General Director, Itoltreven/Viesa.
“Having a reference fair, I believe, is a huge opportunity for our internal market and for our Made in Italy. Having an exclusive space where we can present products, innovation and technologies offers us the opportunity to have a dedicated platform to collaborate with other professionals in the sector.” – Lorenzo Bellini, Product Manager, CAN – Airxcel Group.
“I believe that a fair dedicated only to outdoor and camper components is essential and it is an idea that I have always supported. Customers have numerous options when it comes to recreational vehicles, but far fewer when looking for accessories. Regarding the period, April seems perfect to me.” – Roland Brunner, CEO, Brunner
“We like the idea of a fair dedicated to camper accessories and components in general. We particularly like it for three reasons: the first is its temporal positioning in the heart of the season for those traveling by camper; the second due to the fact that it is dedicated exclusively to components and accessories; and the third because it has both specific B2B days and B2C days”. – Fabrizio Di Piazza, Sales Manager Southern Europe, Thetford
“ Fit Your Camper will be an opportunity to meet and talk to our team, to preview the latest trends just before the period in which traveling tourists get moving for their holidays. We have always believed in quality relationships with our customers and suppliers. This fair represents a special opportunity to meet up, exchange ideas, experiences and plan a successful season together ”. – Pascal Sanguinet, Commercial Director, Dimatec
“ We enthusiastically welcomed the idea of participating in a fair dedicated to the world of accessories in the aftermarket, a sector in which our company believes and invests a lot. Spring 2024 chosen as the period for the fair will be an exceptional opportunity to make not only climate change, but also business opportunities even more exciting ”. – Alessandro Chies, Head of Sales, AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics
“ It is a new and interesting initiative that we are happy to experiment with. It responds to the needs of the consumer who already owns the camper and addresses the accessories market with a curious and concrete attitude, with the aim of tailoring it to the size of his own holiday and keeping it updated and current throughout a life cycle that often exceeds much ten years. For a manufacturer like Eberspächer, an accessory fair represents an interesting opportunity for synergy with the centers of its installation and assistance network: being present in the same place at the same time means not only efficiency, but also being able to present ourselves together in front of the customer final ” – Lorenzo Covini, CEO, Eberspaecher.
“I am truly enthusiastic about this initiative. All the trade fairs in the sector have always left the accessories department at the rear and above all they have never organized B2B days dedicated only to professionals. At this fair there are even two days which give us the opportunity to talk much more calmly with our customers “. – Fabio Viviani, General Director, Acquatravel.
