Eberspaecher Plans Robust Exhibit at Caravan Salon 2023

ESSLINGEN, Germany – Being close to nature without compromising on comfort is what many camping enthusiasts are after, according to a press release from Eberspaecher.

In addition to products for pleasant room temperatures within mobile homes, thermal management specialist Eberspaecher will be showcasing autonomous power supply systems at the Caravan Salon in Duesseldorf: From Aug. 25 to Sept. 3, visitors to Booth B11 in Hall 13 will find the energy management system of the Xellstor family and more. This system supplies current to electrical consumers in the recreational vehicle independently of the vehicle battery.

Whether it’s an e-bike, an induction hob, or an air-conditioning system, modern camping involves meeting the energy needs of numerous consumers at the same time. Xellstor, the 230 V energy management system from Eberspaecher, combines comfort and self-sufficiency. The system consists of up to four Power Units, the intelligent Smart Hub, and the associated app.

It provides a sustainable, silent alternative to fuel-operated power generators. The supply of 230 V alternating current ensures the familiar use of devices from home – for example, a hairdryer, the coffee maker or the e-bike – without performance restrictions. In addition, the modular system design offers greater installation flexibility and easy energy capacity expansion.

Depending on requirements, the system can be expanded from one to four storage modules in line with the available space and weight capacity in the recreational vehicle. At the same time, the energy density of about 160 Wh/liter makes them very compact and lightweight. They can be charged via solar panels, shore power, or a generator. Via the app, the user can monitor the current battery status at all times. The sales launch is planned for spring 2024. A 120-volt version for the North American market will be released at the same time.

Feel-good atmosphere in electric and classic recreational vehicles

The Airtronic heater from Eberspächer quickly provides comfortable heat in recreational vehicles.

The new E-Airtronic EHV1 230V ensures pleasant temperatures in colder seasons. The electric air heater with 1 kW of heat output and a blower enables targeted heat distribution in RVs with a battery-powered drive. The PTC technology used by Eberspaecher guarantees high intrinsic safety against overheating and ensures reliable heater operation capacities.

The E-Airtronic EHV1 230V also impresses with its extremely quiet operation. For the summer and transitional seasons, Eberspaecher presents another new product by way of the Breezonic family. The rooftop air conditioner with heat pump function combines cooling and efficient heating as needed via reverse circulation. The system convinces with compact dimensions, low weight and maximum power efficiency.

The R32 refrigerant used for operation is far more environmentally friendly than the more common R410A. In the future, the product family will include two versions in power classes of 2.5 and 3.5 kW for individual comfort requirements. The Breezonic can also be operated via an app.

Air and water heaters for all power classes

In addition, Eberspaecher will be exhibiting its proven product families of air and water heaters while on site. The third generation of the Airtronic offers quickly available heat with optimized current consumption in all power classes from 2 to 8 kW. With the Hydronic,

Eberspaecher enables a particularly high heat output of up to 12 kW in larger RVs. EasyStart Pro, as an intelligent permanently installed operating element, and the Internet-based EasyStart Web control system ensure straightforward operation via app or browser. Both control units are compatible with the Airtronic and Hydronic families.
