Great news: my favorite 8-person tent, the Eureka Copper Canyon, is on major sale at Cabela’s in the run-up to Black Friday. During the Outdoor Life test of the best 8-person tents, the Eureka was the clear winner. It had ample interior space for families. It had seriously impressive headroom, with multiple 6-foot-plus individuals able to stand up inside at the same time. It handled some serious wind (and an overnight rain shower) without issue. It’s got great ventilation, with plenty of windows and doors. The only real ding is that it is a slightly more complex setup (plan on two adults to get this one up). But that is more than outweighed by how affordable this tent is, almost half the cost of its best-in-class peers. And with this early Black Friday sale on Eureka’s 8-Person Tent at Cabela’s, it just got even more affordable.
