GOSHEN, Ind. – With the release of Model Year 2023, Dutchmen RV is celebrating its 35th anniversary. You may remember the slogan “If It Ain’t Dutch, It Ain’t Much.” Through the years there have been changes, however Dutchmen’s core mission never wavered.

“Our longevity is meaningful, having survived downturns and economic difficulties many other RV manufacturers did not. Surviving soaring gas prices and interest rates, as well as the Great Recession, demonstrates Dutchmen’s resilience over time,” stated Kyle Kwasny, president of Dutchmen.

In 1991, Dutchmen was the first OEM acquired by THOR Industries, creating a landmark in Dutchmen’s history. The acquisition provided THOR’s financial strength and stability, giving consumers peace of mind after their purchase.

Dutchmen was founded with innovative floorplans, bringing more standard features for less money to the market. This tradition continues as Dutchmen focuses on delivering award-winning floorplans with trailblazing value. In 1996, Consumer Reports Magazine awarded Dutchmen “Best Value Travel Trailer.” Through the years Dutchmen’s name and reputation set the bar, winning numerous accolades.

“Every day we remember who we are and who we work for. We work for the customer and that is our formula for success, and it seems to be working.” stated Kyle Kwasny.

To celebrate this milestone, Dutchmen is offering the most dynamic fall program yet, commemorating its 35th anniversary of building exceptional RVs. This fall program includes the introduction of the 35th anniversary package, which will be included on all brands in the 2023 model year. The 35th anniversary package includes the Solo OneControl Bluetooth accessible mobile app. The Solo OneControl controls many of the RV main functions including opening and closing slideouts, turning lights on and off, checking tank levels, and on some floorplans the ability to raise and lower leveling jacks. Other new components of the 35th anniversary package include slideout toppers, an on-demand tankless water heater, keyless entry, and rear-view monitor camera.

“Every once in a while, you’ll stumble across a vintage Dutchmen on the road or even in the campground, and it always brings a smile knowing that generations of families have created memories through the years. It’s in those moments that we remember why we love our industry, what we do, and who we are. For Dutchmen, this is the soul of RVing,” stated Angelia Peterson, director of marketing.
