A short, scenic drive from Quesnel will bring you to Barkerville Historic Town & Park. Be sure to keep your eyes open on the drive where there’s always a chance you’ll come across moose, deer, bears and other wildlife! Barkerville Historic Town is a remarkably preserved gold rush town where you can walk its wooden sidewalks, have a drink in the saloon, try your hand at gold panning, and be immersed in the historical experience of the Gold Rush.
