John Augustine of Huntington National Bank will take a look at U.S. politics and how they relate to the strength of the RV industry in a workshop in the dealer/GM track at the RV Dealers Convention/Expo. The Convention/Expo will take place Nov. 6-10, 2023, at Paris Las Vegas.   

Augustine will discuss “Getting Back to Normalization” from 1:30-2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7. This workshop will review provide a current and future look at the political landscape as the U.S. enters what promises to be a volatile national election cycle.  

During the workshop, attendees will learn: 

  • Finance, inventory, and planning concepts for each dealer 
  • Market trends 
  • Policy trends that affect the economy and markets 
  • Trends affecting consumer durable-good spending 
  • U.S. economic trends and areas to watch 

Augustine is chief investment officer for Huntington National Bank and has spent more than 30 years as an investment manager, investment strategist and economic strategist for various financial institutions.
