Caravan Salon Set for ‘Fascination of Mobile Traveling’
DUSSELDORF, Germany – Being at home everywhere. Enjoying liberty and proximity to nature – the whole fascination of mobile traveling can be felt hands-on at CARAVAN SALON, states a press release at the event’s website.
In Düsseldorf, all caravanning friends will be given a unique overview of the world of mobile leisure for ten days. From Aug. 25 to Sept. 3 the latest generation of motorhomes, caravans and campervans will be on show in 16 halls.
In addition to these vehicle highlights, visitors will find a huge selection of accessories, technical equipment, detachable parts, rooftop tents, mobile homes, caravanning and camping accessories, outdoor wear and equipment, travel destinations, campsites as well as motorhome pitches in the three segments Technology & Components, Outdoor & Equipment as well as Travel & Nature. The leading caravanning trade fair is the date when the sector presents its new products and innovations for the future, and also sets standards for the quality and diversity of the products on display.
“We are very satisfied with the registrations received so far. Requests from national and international exhibitors have increased again against the previous year and we have already had to set up waiting lists in many segments. CARAVAN SALON is the highlight of the year for visitors and exhibitors and undisputedly the meeting point for the entire industry with guests from all continents. It is and will be the showcase for innovations because in Düsseldorf the trends and innovations of the coming season and beyond are presented,” said CARAVAN SALON Director Stefan Koschke.
In addition, there is a great entertainment and information program that is perfectly oriented towards mobile leisure. The popular “StarterWelt”, the Special “Abenteuer Selbstausbau/Adventure DIY”, the “Travel & Nature connected” stage, the Dream Tours cinema plus many other attractions are all part of the inviting line-up at Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. The ranges are rounded off by accompanying high-quality side events for the caravanning industry.
“After the many restrictions imposed during the Covid years, people feel like travelling and new adventures more than ever. The pandemic has also made it clear that holidaymakers’ priorities have shifted. Today people are looking for individuality, flexibility and proximity to nature. Caravanning connects these aspects like hardly any other form of holiday,” explains Daniel Onggowinarso, Managing Director of the Caravanning Industry Association / Caravaning Industrie Verband e.V. (CIVD). “So it’s no wonder that caravanning has seen increased popularity for a long while now with numerous newcomers also showing enthusiasm for caravans and motorhomes. CARAVAN SALON is and will remain the most relevant point of contact for camping enthusiasts and novices because nowhere else is the variety of products and innovations greater,” says Daniel Onggowinarso.
Particularly recommended is the Preview Day on Aug. 25. Due to the limited tickets allotted visitors can explore the halls in a quiet atmosphere on that day and be the first to experience the novelties. “The Preview Day particularly pays off for those with concrete intentions to buy recreational vehicles. The exclusive atmosphere makes it possible to calmly compare favoured models without time pressure. This, of course, also applies to the tourism ranges as well as the equipment products. The premiere last year already met with a great response,” adds Stefan Koschke.
Ticket sales will start at the end of June. Current information and news can be found online at www.caravan-salon.com and at www.caravaning-info.de.
