Canadian Q3, YTD Wholesale Shipments Show Declines

The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) reports that RV wholesale shipments into Canada for the 3rd Quarter ending Sept. 30, 2022 totaled 10,269 units compared to 14,245 in 2021, representing a decrease of 27.9% year over year.

According to Statistical Surveys Inc., Grand Rapids, Mich., RVDA of Canada reported that retail activity during the 3rd Quarter totaled 12,601 units and, when compared to the wholesale shipment figure of 10,269, Canadian RV dealer inventory levels decreased significantly during the quarter, which would be considered appropriate.

RV wholesale shipments into Canada YTD for the 1st 9 months ending Sept. 30 were 48,670 units vs. 44,347 in 2021, an increase of 9.8% year over year overall.
