Camping in South Central Utah at Venture RV Park
Venture RV Park puts guests close to some of Utah’s most exciting spots. Located in Richfield, the brand-new resort is just a few miles from Fishlake National Forest, which has the largest mountain lake in the state. To the south, the Paiute ATV Trail comprises more than 900 miles of fun riding.

Welcoming RV Park
Venture RV Park, just a few blocks from Interstate 70, was designed for both beginning and seasoned RV owners. With 77 sites, the park has 18 seasonal sites with a maximum length of 85 feet. Pull-through sites are available for larger vehicles, and Wi-Fi keeps guests connected. Sites are powered by 30/50-amp electricity, and the roomy space for each site means guests can deploy slide-out and relax around their table to admire the surrounding views.

Guests have lots of opportunities to let off steam after a long trip. Practice your serve on the pickleball court, hone your jump shot at the basketball court, or turn the kids loose at the playground. There’s even a dog park for pups to work off energy.

Guests will discover ample convenience with free hot showers, clean bathrooms, and an ATV/UTV wash area. The park staff members take pride in their Western hospitality, and the roomy community pavilion is ideal for social events.

Rev and Roam on the Paiute Trail
RVers who travel with their ATVs are a stone’s throw from adventure. The park has direct access to the Paiute ATV Trail System, considered by many to be the world’s premier ATV trail network. The system’s impressive climbs, ascents, and summits will challenge experienced riders, while there are plenty of stretches for beginners. Along the way, riders will encounter old mills and meeting houses, giving explorers a glimpse into the area’s dynamic history.
Also nearby is the Pahvant Trail System, described as “one of the most exciting, new MTB trail systems in Utah.” These scenic singletrack trails offer several technical options, with the trailhead right off Interstate 70.
Big Candy Rock Mountain
A popular song about a hobo paradise inspired locals to name a nearby peak Big Rock Candy Mountain. The namesake mountain consists of volcanic rock in various shades of yellow, orange, red, and white. The summit is accessible via the Paiute Trail, and visitors can also enjoy nearby river rafting, floats, bike trails, ziplining, and camping.

Fantastic Fishlake
Trophy fishing, bird watching, and hiking are just three popular activities on offer for visitors of Fishlake National Forest, accessible directly from Venture RV Park. Visitors also can go horseback riding and ATV/UTV cruising in this wooded land, with plenty of spots for outstanding scenery. Visit during fall when the trees turn brilliant shades of gold and crimson. Year-round, anglers will find outstanding catches on 2,500-acre Fish Lake, from lake trout to Mackinaw, and ice fishing during winter.

Capitol Reef National Park
This park is a geological wonderland. Visitors can climb a dramatic sandstone cliff to get a panoramic overview of the terrain from the strenuous Rim Overlook and Navajo Knob trails. The red rock mesas, canyons, and domes seen here are mere appetizers for the main event: the Waterpocket Fold lives up to its descriptive name, creating a 100-mile wrinkle folded in the earth’s crust. Hike a little farther to be rewarded with Hickman Bridge, a natural stone arch.
Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument
Hikers and offroad enthusiasts can experience an incredible journey through a desert playground at Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Mother nature has chiseled Navajo sandstone into grottoes, slick rock domes, and narrow canyons with waterfalls. In 1879, Mormon missionaries used a slot in the sandstone to lower wagons and livestock over 2,000 feet to the Colorado River. Follow Hole-In-The-Rock Road to see this amazing pioneer feat.
Bryce Canyon National Park
Discover Bryce Canyon, home to the world’s most spectacular amphitheater, where hoodoos act as performers and the conductor is constantly changing positions. These striated rock pinnacles are illuminated by sunlight, providing an awe-inspiring spectacle every day. Viewpoints scattered over the park allow tourists to take in the breathtaking surroundings.
Pando
The “Trembling Giant,” the largest known living thing on Earth, is hidden away in Utah’s Fishlake National Forest. Pando, which translates to “I spread” in Latin, is a group of aspen trees spanning 106 acres linked by an extensive root system. Pando, made up of almost 40,000 individual trees, started to develop around the end of the last ice age and continues to do so to this day. Fall brings brilliant color to the trees, turning them into a golden sea that sways with the breeze. This natural phenomenon can be seen in all its splendor from an overlook on the Lakeshore Trail at Fish Lake. It is situated one mile southwest of Fish Lake on State Highway 25.
