Birkenstock’s Latest Is a Sandal Equipped for Adventure

Birkenstock made the Mogami Terra’s upper using Birko-Flor, a synthetic alternative to the leather or suede Arizona owners might be familiar with, too. This key material update, along with the rest of the construction, make the sandal fully waterproof and thus amphibious, a prereq for any go-to adventure sandal.

And at a glance, the Mogami Terra does appear to have all the makings of a shoe capable of hiking, camping, canoeing, and more; Field Mag editors haven’t had a chance to test just yet, but expect that it’ll readily go toe-to-toe with Chacos, Tevas, and Bedrocks.
