Big Crowds Mark Opening of Campground Owners Expo – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
The COE has welcomed hundreds to Branson for a show that features an expo, educational sessions, networking events and more.
The third annual Campground Owners Expo (COE) opened its expo on Wednesday, Nov. 30, afternoon as part of its new show format that features the expo at the front end of the four-day conference. The conference is being hosted at the Hilton Branson Convention Center in Branson, Mo.
The expo floor was busy throughout the four hours it was open on Wednesday, with vendors reporting to Woodall’s Campground Magazine (WCM), a sister publication to RVBusiness, that so far the new format was something they liked. The expo floor features a record number of vendors, with 4-5 accommodation units on display.
Lori Severson, who co-founded the event with Bud Styer, owner of Bud Styer Associates, in 2021, noted to WCM that more vendors were bringing larger displays, something that was on full display with the booth Commercial Recreation Specialists featured. The company highlighted a complete Wibit inflatable aquatic set, a full pickleball court, Aquabanas and more.
COE features a record number of vendors at this years expo, including a large number of vendors that brought larger displays.
A new company, Dino Experience, is displaying animatronic dinosaurs and some of the other features of its traveling show that campgrounds can host.
Earlier on Wednesday, the COE hosted around a dozen educational sessions on a variety of topics and later in the evening, an auction raised thousands of dollars for the Gilbert Brown Foundation, which supports a variety of charities across North America.
Today, the COE will host the second day of its expo and later this afternoon numerous state associations will be hosting meetings.
