Arkto Campers Launches ‘Stay Longer Package’ in New G12 – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

EDMONTON, Alb. — Arkto Campers reveals the 2025 G12 trailer, which adds value, durability, and livability improvements to a trailer with class-leading storage capacity. New and updated features include a REDARC RedVision Electrical Management System, available Electric-Lift Roof, “Stay Longer Package” that enables campers to travel to more remote locations and stay up to three weeks, along with several other notable improvements and options.

“For the last two years, we have implemented running changes and improvements to the G12. For the 2025 model year, we decided to draw a line in the sand and roll several key changes, options, and packages out at once,” said Arkto Campers Principal Aaron Nerenberg. “The G12 is already one of the highest-quality, most feature-rich trailers in the industry, boasting class-leading storage and durability. Adding features like an Electric-Lift Roof System and the Stay Longer Package will take the G12 far beyond the competition and into a league of its own.”

What’s New for 2025

A significant change to the 2025 G12 is the new REDARC Manager30 Battery Management System, Rogue Distribution Module, and RedVision display. This system allows owners to charge the trailer’s batteries via an Anderson Plug from their tow vehicle at a whopping 30 amps. To put that into perspective, that is the same as plugging into the 110-volt plug in your home. Competitive trailers either cannot charge from the tow rig, or if they can, they can only charge at a trickle. Also included in the updated REDARC Management system is a smartphone app that allows for full control and monitoring of the electrical system, including control of the lights, and water pump.

For the first time ever, the G12 will now be available with an optional Electric-Lift Roof. The G12’s pop-up roof was already one of the easiest in the industry to operate. The G12’s roof system features unique

Y-brackets, designed in-house, which prevent the roof from shifting, pinching, or binding up during the opening/closing process. Not only does the optional electric-lift roof literally take the load off the owners’ shoulders, it enables the installation of an optional 1,000-Watt solar array and an air conditioning unit.

The pop-up roof creates an interior living space height of 6’8”. The interior feels surprisingly spacious compared to how it looks from the outside and sleeps a family of four. The elevated bed design enables that class-leading storage capability.

Turning to the exterior, the G12’s kitchen has been redesigned with powder-coated aluminum and a marine-grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE) countertop. It now features two push-to-open drawers, soap cubby, towel rack, dish rack, folding counter top, and a propane quick-connect for secondary appliances. Unlike other trailers with slide-out components, the G12 utilizes a carrier that houses the gas and plumbing lines, so that they remain protected from abrasion when sliding out the kitchen. This allows for the plumbing and gas lines to remain connected, avoiding the need to connect lines when you set up camp.

Further exterior changes will include two new colors, including Jeep’s “Sarge Green,” and a redesigned tire carrier that weighs 20 pounds less than the original.

Stay Longer

For campers who want to travel to more remote locations and, well, stay there longer, Arkto Campers has developed the Stay Longer Package. This package should enable campers to stay as many as three weeks in one spot completely off grid in unparalleled comfort.

This optional package includes up to 945-amp hours in lithium-ion batteries and up to 1,600 Watts of additional solar panels. The latter of which is controlled by REDARC’s forthcoming and state-of-the-art Manager100 battery management system.

Stay Longer Package can also be paired with the new Electric-Lift Roof System and optional

air-conditioning unit. Combined with the G12’s standard DC-DC 30-amp charging system, the customer’s tow rig is effectively a generator. With all of this, one could arguably stay out indefinitely.
