AIM Wholesale Dealer Show Starts Thursday in Arizona
Phoenix-headquartered AIM Wholesale will hold its annual dealer show Thursday and Friday (Oct. 27-28) at the Mesa Conventions Center in Mesa, Ariz.
The two-day event commences with a full day of dealer training conducted by vendor staff and a welcome reception dinner that evening. On Friday, the show floor opens at 7:30 a.m., with events concluding with prize drawings and an appreciation dinner.
Family-owned AIM was founded in 1978 and serves RV dealerships nationwide, offering over 9,500 wholesale RV parts, accessories, and supplies. This is the 20th year AIM has held a dealer show.
Liane Reid, Director of Marketing and Purchasing, told RVBusiness that the company expects around 125-150 dealerships at the show this week, similar to 2019 attendance. However, vendor participation is up 25%. “We picked up some new product lines, and I think vendors are getting back to normal, doing more shows, and going forward full steam ahead.”
When asked about dealer sentiment, Reid noted that from her vantage point, dealers are cautiously approaching the new year due partly to the slowdown in new unit sales, gas prices, and economic uncertainty. What’s more, with the supply chain starting to normalize, Reid says dealers no longer buy out of fear that products will not be available when needed.
Overall, business has been good, and AIM has added new dealerships. Helping fuel this expansion is the opening of a new warehouse in Denver in June of this year. In addition to Denver, AIM operates three other warehouses in Arizona and Utah.
