Suburban Increases Production of Tankless Waters Heaters
SUBURBAN, an AIRXCEL brand, announced today (Sept. 26) that it is has ramped up production capacity of its recently released ST42 and ST60 tankless on-demand water heaters.
“Building on more than seven decades of providing exceptional products to the market, Suburban’s new ST42 and ST60 ensure the end user has a great experience,” said Jeff Cowan, national OEM sales manager in a release. “We’re also committed to helping our OEM partners elevate their products with high-quality, reliable American made appliances. So far, we’ve supplied the ST42 to many OEMs — and the feedback on quality, performance and cost has been outstanding.
“Effective design and engineering enable Suburban to manufacture these tankless water heaters domestically with American workers while effectively competing on price for similar products imported from China,” Cowan added.
Using standard component sizes for easy, quick installation was a stated goal for Suburban’s design team on both the ST42 and ST60, ensuring the new units are compatible with existing RV design. The ST42 performs with 42,000 BTU/h and the ST60 with 60,000 BTU/h heat output to accommodate RV water-heating needs from entry level travel trailers all the way up to luxury Class A motorhomes. Both are comparable in size to standard 6-gallon tanked water heaters, allowing for easy conversion from a tank to a tankless model for OEMs and end users alike.
Both models also feature automatically adjusting BTU/h input to maintain a steady and reliable water temperature and built-in freeze protection — which is important for RVers readying for winter camping.
“With the addition of the ST42 and ST60, Suburban now has the most complete line of water heating products, both porcelain lined steel tanks and tankless water heaters,” Cowan said. “And in addition to supplying OEMs, Suburban products are available through the broadest distribution network to support RV dealers and consumers.”
