RV Industry Helps Raise $365K for Bashor Children’s Home

The seventh Annual Running with Spoons cooking competition benefiting Bashor Children’s Home in Goshen took place Sept. 8 at The Lerner Theater in Elkhart, Ind.

The event was attended by almost 300 people and saw thirteen teams of local business and community leaders compete against each other by cooking up their favorite dishes for attendees to sample. Attendees then voted on their favorites and the total raised was $365,000.

Bashor CEO Sean McCrindle said, “We help kids who have been through things you couldn’t even imagine and to see so many people show up to support them was just wonderful. All the proceeds stay here in our community and will go towards our programs at Bashor and to care for survivors of human trafficking.”
