General RV Center’s Nicole Akers Named Sales Manager – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
WIXOM, Mich. – General RV Center, the nation’s largest family-owned RV dealer, announced the promotion of two-time Rookie of the Year Nicole Akers from Sales Associate to Sales Manager, effective Oct. 27, 2023, according to a release.
Akers joined the General RV team in 2020, serving as a sales associate at the company’s Dover Supercenter. With a background in the service industry, Akers swiftly established herself as a talented Sales Associate. In 2021, she earned Towables Rookie of the Year, an award given to employees who demonstrate top performance and customer service in their first full year of employment with General RV. In 2022, her continued dedication and hard work earned her the Motorhome Rookie of the Year award.
“Nicole’s interaction with our customers always impresses — her professionalism, attention to detail, positive attitude and personal connection enable her to help customers at the highest level to find their perfect RV,” said Bob Green, General RV Sales Director. “As General RV’s first female Sales Manager, Nicole’s promotion marks a significant milestone for our team and sets a path for other female leaders like her to follow.”
