NHTSA Releases its Most Recent Installment of RV Recalls – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.

• Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling 8,583 2017-2024 Travato motorhomes. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 7, 2023. This recall replaces and expands NHTSA Recall 22V-696. Motorhomes previously repaired under 22V-696 will need to have the new remedy completed.

• Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 34 2024 Palomino hardside and softside truck campers. An unnecessary charge line may have been connected to the lithium battery. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 25, 2023.

•Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling 5,795 2024-2025 Ford E-350, F-650, and F-750 vehicles. The park pawl may not fully engage the park gear due to a casting defect in the transmission. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 30, 2023.
