9 Candidates Up for 3 Seats on 2024 RVIA Board of Directors – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
Nominations are in for the RV Industry Association Board of Directors, RVIA today announced in a News & Insights report.
The Board of Directors is the highest-level authority in the association’s overall organizational structure and is responsible for setting and overseeing strategy and policies related to critical topics such as standards, marketing, government affairs, industry education, statistical data, and association finances.
Nine candidates are running for this year’s three open seats. Members will have the opportunity to cast their votes in September to fill one RV Manufacturer seat, one Park Model RV Manufacturer seat, and one Supplier seat. Voting will take place between Tuesday, Sept. 5 and continue until midnight on Monday, Sept. 25. Results will be announced in early October and the newly elected board members will begin serving their 3-year terms on Jan. 1, 2024.
Each member company is permitted one vote, cast by the member’s official representative. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks with specific details on how to vote.

RV MANUFACTURERS
Ashley Bontrager Lehman, Ember Recreational Vehicles, Inc.
Ashley is the Founder, President, & CEO of Ember Recreational Vehicles, Inc, a company she launched in 2021. Prior to Ember, she served in various marketing roles at Jayco since 2011, including as Director of Corporate Marketing. Ashley also served as a freelance marketing consultant, an event Marketing Consultant at GEICO, and a legislative correspondent at the US House of Representatives. Ashley has been a member of the RV Industry Association Emerging Leaders Coalition since 2022 and was also a Public Relations Intern for the Association during college. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Butler University.
She is a member of the Community Foundation of Elkhart County’s Foundations Relations Committee, a member of the fundraising committee for the Boys & Girls Club of Middlebury Capital Campaign (2018), a voting member of the Bontrager Family Foundation for Charitable Giving (2019-2022), and a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternity. Ashley lives in Middlebury, Indiana with her husband and two sons.
Scott Hubble, nuCamp
Scott is the CEO of nuCamp in Sugarcreek, Ohio, a position that he has held since 2016. Prior to nuCamp, Scott led the marketing and operational efforts at Little Guy Worldwide (2008-2016), served as an Auditor for the state of Ohio (2007-2008), and worked as a Consultant at Corbin Creative Group (2004-2008). Scott has been a member of the RV Industry Association the past 2 years, sitting on the Public & Legislative Affairs Committee and the Lawyers Committee. Scott is a long-time volunteer and donor for Feed My Starving Children. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, as well as both a Juris Doctorate and Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Akron. Scott resides in Berlin, OH with his wife and five children.
Bryan L. Hughes, Winnebago Industries
Bryan is the Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President – Finance, Investor Relations & Information Technology for Winnebago Industries. He has served as Chief Financial Officer at Winnebago Industries, since May 15, 2017. Prior to joining Winnebago Industries, Hughes spent more than 25 years in financial leadership roles, including 21 years at Ecolab, Inc., a global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services. At Ecolab, Hughes was the Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, with global responsibilities for Financial Reporting & Analysis, Planning, Forecasting, Accounting, and Internal Audit functions.
Prior to that position, Hughes was Ecolab’s Vice President of Finance for the company’s Global Institutional business. He has served on the RV Industry Association Board of Directors since 2021. Hughes received a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Accounting from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He volunteers his time outside of work as a Board member at the Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities, Science Museum of Minnesota, and he is also currently serving as the president of his church.
PARK MODEL RV MANUFACTURERS
Trevor Kropf, Kropf Industries, Inc.
Trevor has worked at Kropf Industries, Inc., since 2010, first as Controller and now as General Manager since 2021. Prior to that, Trevor served as Staff Accountant at Kruggel, Lawton & Company, LLC. Trevor has served on the RV Industry Association Board of Directors since 2021. He has also served on the Park Model RV Committee since 2021 and as an Advocacy Day Participant in 2022 and 2023. Trevor is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University, South Bend.
He has served on his local high school youth basketball Board of Directors as Vice-President while coaching and leading fund-raising activities the past 6 years. He is also a Greens and Grounds Committee member at Elcona Country Club in Bristol, Indiana as an advocate for junior/youth golf. From 2018-2020, Trevor served on the Board of Directors for Brenneman Day Care Ministry in Goshen, IN where he led fundraising events to provide a new playground for children. Trevor lives in Goshen, IN with his wife and three children.
John Soard, Woodland Park, Inc.
John is the Vice President of Sales at Woodland Park, Inc. and his career in the RV industry spans nearly 40 years. In 1983 John got into the industry as a Draftsman at Travel-Craft Motorhomes. From there his career progressed to becoming a Drafting Engineer at Coachmen Industries, Director of Engineering at Park Homes, Inc., Director of Engineering, then National Sales manager at Woodland Park, Inc., Regional Sales Manager at Breckenridge Park Models, and General Manager of the Park Models Division at Fairmont Homes.
John’s decades long involvement with the RV Industry Association includes his current position as long-time Chairman and member of the Park Model RV Committee, member of the Go RVing Coalition, and the Park Model RV Technical Subcommittee. He has also contributed to the RV Industry Association and RPTIA Codes and Standards Subcommittees and served as a member of PRVCA Board of Directors.
John Tuyo, Champion Homes
John serves as Director of Park Model Sales for Champion Homes, a role he has held since 2022. Prior to that, John was owner of T3 Land Services (2012-2022), Regional VP for Jim Walter Homes (2007-2012), Sales Manager for Cavalier Homes (2005-2007), and Sales Manager for Fleetwood Homes (1992-2005). John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville.

Heather Jenks, Genesis Products
Heather is Vice President of RV Sales at Genesis Products in Elkhart, Indiana, a position she has held since 2015. She has over 27 years of experience in the manufacturing industry – 16 years at Genesis Products and 11 years as Sales Manager at Doors Plus (1998-2007). Heather recently joined the RV Industry Association’s Market Information Committee after attending RV’s Move America Week in Washington, DC.
She has been heavily involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart County for over 10 years and has served on the Goshen Board for over 5 years. She also serves on an advisory committee for Soup of Success and volunteers throughout the year at many organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Elkhart County 4H Fair and the RV Industry Association’s Park Improvement events. Heather received her Bachelor of Science degree from Goshen College.
April Klein-Carroll, Lippert Components
April currently serves as the Vice President of Customer Support Services at Lippert Components. Prior to joining the team at Lippert in 2012, April had an extensive career in the OEM space with over 20 years at Monaco Coach Corp., where she was the VP of Customer Service. Serving in the supplier segment for the past 10 years, she has cultivated many relationships with dealers and OEMs where she provides a unique perspective and understanding of many different segments of the RV industry. April has served on the RV Industry Association Board of Directors since 2020 and on the RV Technical Institute Board of Directors since 2019, where she holds the role of Treasurer.
She has also served as a member of the Public & Legislative Affairs Committee since 2020 and most recently has committed to serve as co-chair of the part number normalization task force. April is passionate about serving customers and protecting our industry. April is a dedicated member of her community serving and supporting her local Boys & Girls Club, Child, and Parent Services (CAPS), KOA Care Camps, and the Women’s Shelter. She is also a member of the American Saddlebred Horse Association, United States Equine Federation, and Northwest Saddlebred Association.
Missy Rogers, Tredit Tire and Wheel Company
Missy serves as Director of National Accounts for Tredit Tire and Wheel Company, a position she has held since 2022. Prior to that, Missy has held multiple roles at Tredit since 2005, including Inside Sales Representative (2005-2006), Inside Sales Manager (2006-2008), Outside Sales Manager (2008-2013), and National Accounts Manager (2013-2022).
She has served on the RV Industry Association Board of Directors since earlier this year and on the Sustainability Committee since its formation in 2023. Missy holds a Certificate of Executive Management from Norte Dame Mendoza College of Business. Missy supports many local Elkhart organizations, including the Elkhart County Humane Society, The Crossing School of Business and Entrepreneurship, the Samaritan Center and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
