63rd Annual Escapade RV Rally Set for June in Rock Springs, Wyo. – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
ROCK SPRING, Wyo. — The Sweetwater Events Complex will host the Escapade event for the Escapees RV Club June 16-21 in Rock Springs, Wyo., according to a release from the member-based RV owners organization.
“This is a huge event for our area,” said Jenissa Meredith, CEO of Sweetwater County Travel & Tourism. “Rock Springs is the perfect location for an event like this, bringing in travelers from across the nation to enjoy the Cowboy State and cruise our wide-open roads, scenic drives and one-of-a-kind scenery.”
Escapade is the largest and most extensive gathering of the Escapees community and is an immersive way to learn about the RV lifestyle. Nearly 1,000 RVs and over 2,000 people are expected to descend on the Sweetwater Events Complex where they can learn from professionals and other RV enthusiasts.
“While it’s a cool event, it’s so much more than that,” added Meredith. “It will have a positive impact on our communities, from local shops to restaurants and attractions.”
During this event, RVers will gain new tips and tricks on how to be the best Escapee through seminars, social gatherings, nightly entertainment and more. Many attendees will also participate in the Flaming Gorge Bus Tour, an excursion that includes breakfast, lunch and interpretive narration as it travels along southwest Wyoming’s landscapes, including rock formations and deep canyons. The guided tour, which is offered by Sweetwater County Travel & Tourism, explores the Flaming Gorge Scenic Byway, the nation’s newest All-American Road.
