4 Parks Featured on National ARVC’s OHCE Takeaway Tours

DENVER – National ARVC has announced that Takeaway Tours will be held at four different central Florida parks to kick off the 2022 Outdoor Hospitality Expo and Conference (OHCE2022). These unique hands-on tours offer insights and behind-the-scenes looks at the nuts and bolts of operating a park day-to-day as well as staff operation and customer service and accommodation standards.

The Takeaway Tours will be hosted at four different National ARVC member parks, allowing attendees multiple unique perspectives. The four parks will be: Camp Margaritaville RV Resort & Cabana Cabins, Sanlan RV and Gold Resort, Stage Stop RV Campground, and ﷟HYPERLINK “https://wekivafalls.com/”Wekiva Falls RV Resort. These parks, all located in central Florida, enjoy the ability to be open year-round, and will offer attendees viewpoints from both independently and corporately owned perspectives.

Takeaway Tours will take place on Monday, November 7, and can be purchased as an add-on to registration for only $299.

Camp Margaritaville RV Resort & Cabana Cabins offers a family friendly, water-centric, “island state of mind” park. In fact, they encourage you to “Get in the Margaritaville State of Mind” and enjoy a 147-foot water slide with a zero-entry pool, the tiki bar, or some parrot island mini golf. The park offers 399 sites, including 75 turn-key cabana cabins, motorhome suites, and plenty of full-hookup RV sites. There is no shortage of family fun to be had and the tour will see it all!

Sanlan RV and Gold Resort allows guests to enjoy private access to three, 9-hole golf courses coupled with an extended stay, at-home feel. The Sanlan Golf Course sits in a pristine setting free from any outside development. The park boasts more than 500 spacious RV sites, as well as multiple heated swimming pools and recreation halls. Guests also enjoy seven miles of private trails through nationally recognized bird-watching territory.

Stage Stop RV Campground offers the small-town charm of old Florida mirroring the nearby, historic, Winter Garden Village, with its brick lined streets, original architecture, and a unique outdoor shopping experience. With nearly 240 sites and proximity to lots of major attractions, they offer top-tier quality stays for travelers. Comfort is a top priority for Stage Stop RV Campground, and the park’s 5-year renovation plans to take that comfort to the next level are 95% completed. Stage Stop is also celebrating 49 years in business this year.

Wekiva Falls RV Resort delivers an unmatched pool and river experience. The water features run right through the middle of the park, breaking from the Wekiva River, running to the marina for canoe and kayak rentals, and finally to the swimming lagoon which is a natural sulfur spring-fed swimming oval. They offer more than 800 sites, including full-hookup RV sites, tent camping, rental cottages and even homes for sale. A 9,000 square foot clubhouse, a dog-park and an onsite market make sure guests are well accommodated.

The Takeaway Tours are always one of the most popular experiences offered at OHCE, and you can add them on to any full registration. Transportation and lunch will be provided and lively discussion will take place on the charter between each park.

For the participants of the in-person Prospective Owners Workshop, a separate Takeaway Tour is included with workshop registration.

OHCE2022 is November 7-10, 2022, in Orlando, Florida, and registration is open. National ARVC members are offered significant discounts on registration, including the option to attend OHCE for free, through the Hosted Buyer Program.
