Pricier than both direct rivals from the Ford Motor Company and Stellantis, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has entered the 2025 model year with even higher prices, according to a report at AutoEvolution.com.

The fossil-fuel range now starts at $50,900 sans the ridiculously high $2,295 destination and delivery charge, whereas the 2024 model starts at $49,900 excluding destination.

On the flip side, Daimler Vans USA made the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter quite a bit more affordable. Instead of the outgoing model’s prohibitively high $71,886 suggested retail price, customers are now presented with a starting price of $61,250 for the most spartan configuration available. Both the fossil-fuel and zero-emission lines will reach dealer showrooms in the US in the second half of 2024.

What else did change, though? From the driver’s perspective, Mercedes worked its magic on the infotainment system. The MBUX touchscreen infotainment system is joined by the so-called Mercedes me connect app, which enables remote lock and unlock. The app also boasts maintenance, breakdown, and accident management.

Daimler Vans USA further gives prospective customers the ability to monitor fleets by means of several authorized telematics providers. The 10.25-inch MBUX touchscreen infotainment system of the eSprinter sweetens the deal with Electric Intelligence for the satellite navigation system.
