2024 Caravan Salon to Feature Dedicated Tourism Hall – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
DÜSSELDORF, Germany – This year, the CARAVAN SALON trade fair will take the tourism segment to the next level with its own dedicated hall, according to a release. Hall 7 will be the new tourism hall, featuring a multitude of destinations for caravanning, hiking, trekking and biking. The ranges on show will be complemented by presentations from campsites and the attractive program presented on the “Travel & Nature CONNECTED” stage. CARAVAN SALON will take place from August 30 (Preview Day) – September 8, 2024, at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany
Stefan Koschke, Director of CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, commented: “The dedicated Travel & Nature hall responds to the wishes voiced by many visitors and exhibitors alike. Hall 7 is the travel market of the trade fair and the highlight for all outdoor fans. Visitors can book their active holidays here directly or get the best information on travel destinations near and far – offerings range from popular destinations in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia to Southern Europe.” Shared on stage again this year will be information and useful tips on regions and tours.
Many vacation regions use CARAVAN SALON to make direct contact with their guests. “For tourist resorts, presenting themselves in a dedicated hall at the trade fair is a great opportunity to convince people of the sports and activity offers in their home region. They truly know their regions and can tell visitors about their unique appeal with great passion. These direct contacts are highly appreciated by our visitors,” explained Patricia Barth in charge of Travel & Nature segment at CARAVAN SALON. In addition to destinations and tour operators, the major camping guides and online portals as well as international camping associations will also be represented in Hall 7.
A special highlight for all outdoor fans will be the screening of footage from the European Outdoor Filmtour (EOFT) on the stage of Hall 7 on September 6. Spectacular scenes will include a biking adventure from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, paragliding in Karakoram, mountain biking with the entire family and breathtaking snowboard runs in the Norwegian Lyngen Alps. The EOFT movie screenings are included in the admission to CARAVAN SALON.
