Last week, journalists from a variety of outlets spent three days at the Sun Outdoors North Shore New Orleans RV Resort experiencing everything that RVing has to offer in a Media Summit event organized by the RV Industry Association (RVIA) and Go RVing.
The primary goal of the event was to build relationships with key journalists who, through the Media Summit, now have the first-hand experience with RVing that makes them a great partner for future stories on the RV industry, according to an RVIA News & Insights report
The three-day, two-night event hosts journalists in rental RVs and includes education sessions (RV 101, emerging technologies, trends & data), outdoor recreation experiences, and ample networking opportunities for industry VIPs and event partners.
In addition to the relationship building, the Media Summit was also the backdrop for the live broadcast of Morning Rush, a Scripps program that is also syndicated to 61 television stations in 41 markets.
