Truma North America Adds Members to Leadership Team

ELKHART, Ind. – Truma North America on April 11 announces the addition of three positions to its leadership team: head of engineering, sales operation manager and operations manager.

“We recognize that strategic growth relies on having the right team in place and planning for the future,” said Gerhard Hundsberger Truma, North America CEO and President. “We are celebrating 10 years of serving the North American market this year, which is exciting. At the same time, we are planning for the next 10 years and laying the foundation with a strong team, which includes building onto our stateside engineering team and supporting our operations.”

With more than 18 years in product engineering and development for companies such as Whirlpool Corporation and FCA (now Stellantis), Jesus Torres will lead the engineering efforts from the Elkhart headquarters. Torres has led product engineering and innovation teams starting from the ground up. With an MBA from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business, he looks forward to building his team by focusing on people, products and processes.

“I was immediately drawn to the products and people of Truma. I look forward to the opportunity to work with the engineering team in Germany to develop a team and processes around the great products we already offer and our future product roadmap,” said Torres.

Focusing on sales and distribution, Elkhart native Sean Steinke has signed on as Truma’s new sales operation manager. Coming to this new role with 16 years of sales and operations experience, Steinke understands how pivotal strong distribution channels are for a company’s future.

“We are in a challenging economic climate, and how we react now will be what pushes us into a position of success in the next five years. I am excited to help my teammates and Truma achieve our goals and continue to grow,” Steinke said.

Operations Manager Matt Krieger is the third new addition to the leadership team. Krieger comes to Truma with 15 years in warehousing and distribution, primarily on the eCommerce and B2C side. Prior to that, he also has experience in the quality assurance and IT fields. Krieger’s skill set will allow Truma to optimize space and better serve manufacturing partners, dealer partners, and end consumers.

“My goals are to improve our warehouse utilization and fulfillment efficiencies to support future growth and customer satisfaction,” Krieger said. “As a company committed to offering superior products and enhancing customer experiences, we have numerous opportunities to make an impact on the industry through our own distribution and operation functions. ”
