MESA, Ariz. – Phoenix-headquartered AIM Wholesale concluded its annual two-day dealer show Oct. 28, with over 100 dealerships in attendance and a host of new vendors.

AIM officials were pleased with the gathering and feel they and their dealers will be well-positioned for the coming year. This marked the 20th year AIM held a show for its dealers.

At a time when the industry is facing a slowdown of new unit sales and possible economic recession, dealers are seeking revenue growth through added aftermarket sales, AIM Marketing Coordinator and Territory Sales Manager Liane Reid told RVBusiness.

“Many dealers are a little apprehensive about the coming year due to the economy,” said Liane Reid. “They are looking for creative ways to add revenue as unit sales stall out.”

To meet their dealer’s needs, AIM added several new suppliers, including  Xantrex, PullRite, MORryde, and Jager-Unitek. According to Reid, new products were missing from recent past shows due to pandemic-related delays and supply-chain issues. This year is different. Dealers were excited to see many new products, including those from AIM’s new vendor partners.

Moving to a larger venue at the Mesa Convention Center also contributed to the show’s success.

This year’s show featured a full day of vendor seminars, which the company reports were well attended. “Dealers appreciate the value this adds, especially for dealers in the local area, as it allows them to send techs for a solid day of training with little to no expense,” Reid noted.

Family-owned AIM was founded in 1978 and serves RV dealerships nationwide, offering over 9,500 wholesale RV parts, accessories, and supplies. The company now operates four warehouses with facilities in Arizona, Utah, and a newly opened warehouse in Denver, allowing for a broader inventory and quicker delivery times, AIM claims. In addition, AIM has made numerous website updates and launched a new dealer portal to make online ordering easier and more efficient.
