One of the most successful TV programs about RVing hits the streaming channels today (Nov. 16), when Anthony Nalli’s “The RVers” appears on Apple TV/iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Prime Video.

Season 4 premiered on Discovery Channel beginning  May 14 of this year. Following a six-week run, the show went on a summer hiatus. With the launch of streaming content, an audience inherently prone to travel can now catch up on every episode through popular online channels. In addition, the streaming programs will include exclusive bonus segments not found on Discovery.

Creator/producer and cast member Anthony Nalli told RVBusiness that Season 4 has been wildly successful. Nalli, who also founded another Discover Channel hit titled the “Aviators,” claims that “The RVers” format is a big part of the show’s success.

“Television programs can take years to reach their potential,” Nalli explained. “However, in four seasons, we are hitting numbers that some shows take 10 years to achieve. But, as I said, we are not a reality show. So it’s not false drama and all that overacting. Under the backdrop of an RV setting, it’s a pure RV TV show, and I think that has been well received by people right from the beginning.”

According to Nalli, Season 4 breaks new ground as cast members dive head-first into renovating their  RVs. Those RVs include a Class A and Class C motorhome, a travel trailer, and a camper van. Literally something for everyone, no matter what type of RV the viewer owns or plans to purchase. Timing is everything, as they say, and the influx of new RVers (and the scarcity of new inventory this summer) may have played a role in this segment’s success.

Not surprisingly, travel-related content is among “The RVers” most popular. As a result, Season 4 includes a travel segment featuring a unique visit to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. What’s more, although Season 5 is only now in production, Nalli teased that one of 2023’s travel segments will include whale watching off the coast of Mexico and off-road RVing in Baja. Adventures definitely on many bucket lists.
