OSCEOLA, Ind. – The first installment of the RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) Summer Discussion Series officials kicks off tomorrow. Set for noon, Thursday, May 25, the first event features “How to be Great at Sales and Influence People” hosted by Tracey Anglemeyer, the director of recruitment for the RV Technical Institute (RVTI).

Each monthly event in the Summer Discussion Series is geared around topics that are sure to generate productive conversations in the RV industry.

The series grew out of RVWA’s 2022 book clubs, where leaders saw a need for deeper discussions within the membership that would allow them to learn from each other.

On the fourth Thursday of each month, ending in September, a different veteran in the RV industry will be discussing topics relatable to growing your career in the RV industry in a virtual setting. Each of these speakers brings a unique perspective to their topic and will be able to provide members with knowledge, discussion and networking opportunities.

“The Summer Discussion Series is a great blend of programs we have done in the past that members enjoyed but fizzled out for whatever reason,” said Jessica Rider, managing director of the RVWA. “This reboot over the summer is a great way for members to engage for an hour, learn new skills and connect with other members. We are excited to bring this to our members and provide them with additional value to help them in their careers.”

Future topics that will be covered include:

  • June – How to negotiate for what you want
  • July – Building a culture of leadership
  • August – Internal and cross functional communication
  • September – Developing employees

This is a free event and open to anyone in the industry.  You can register for this event HERE.
