RV Women’s Alliance Encourages Canadians to Join Group

OSCEOLA, Ind. – The RV Women’s Alliance, a professional organization of women and men with a mission to elevate, educate and promote women in the RV Industry, is ready to expand its membership in Canada.

In conjunction with the Canadian RV Association (“CRVA”), RVWA will co-host a breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. March 3, at The International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, where Show Exhibitor Representatives can come for a free breakfast, networking and to learn more information about the organization from Stacey Robinson of Great Canadian RV.

“The RV Women’s Alliance has become a real force and an important informative network for women working in the RV Industry since its inception in 2019,” said Shane Devenish, CRVA president. “The Canadian RV Association applauds the group’s efforts and progress, and we are excited to announce that we will be hosting the inaugural Canadian Event with a breakfast meeting during our Toronto Spring Camping and RV Show scheduled for March 2-5.”

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to work with the Women’s Alliance in an event that will provide the opportunity for women from dealers, manufacturers, campgrounds and suppliers to come together for the first time north of the border,” said Shannon O’Callaghan, CRVA’s show director.

“The RV Women’s Alliance has rapidly become a respected industry pathfinder in fostering the next generation of leaders through education, mentorship and an abundance of invaluable networking opportunities. While the RVWA has always welcomed Canadian members from its inception in 2019, it truly is exciting to solidify and grow the alliance formally with Canadian members,” Robinson said.

“Since our inception in 2019 we have always wanted to expand into Canada as the RV industry is much wider than just the United States. This opportunity came about from a relationship between two current board members and we saw it as a great way to officially launch RVWA into Canada. We look forward to welcoming the entire RV industry from Canada into our membership,” said Susan Carpenter, president of the RV Women’s Alliance.

The event is timed to be a positive lead-up to March 8 being International Women’s Day. For more information, visit www.rvwa.org.
