Roadmaster Intros New Heavy-Duty Battery Disconnect Kit

Booking.com

Many towed vehicles require the battery to be disconnected before towing to prevent the battery from draining or going dead before arrival at the destination, according to a release from Roadmaster Inc., which is based in Vancouver, Wash.

For owners of larger and/or diesel-powered vehicles that typically require more cold cranking amps, Roadmaster has introduced its #767 Remote Manual Battery Disconnect kit, which includes a heavy-duty switch with pre-assembled cabling, ribbed plastic loom, wire ties and all necessary hardware.

The 767 is designed to be mounted underhood for convenient operation and offers 300 amp constant duty and 1,000 amp surge capability. For diesel vehicles with dual batteries, two 767 kits will be required.
